the Hayloft, where we stayed, was tastefully decorated and filled with colorful books, maps, and utensils. the courtyard provided a lovely spot to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful advice and recommendations. the facilities were excellent, with board games, books, and even a woodburner for outdoor gatherings.
Due to the warm weather and the location of the boiler in the bedroom, the room became uncomfortably hot overnight, despite the fan provided.

I absolutely adored the beautiful and colourful decoration at the hotel. It brought so much joy and warmth to my stay. The common areas were also very accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas. It made me feel at ease and allowed me to fully enjoy the hotel's amenities.
The only thing I would have asked for is a little bit more assistance from the children working there. As a senior woman, I sometimes needed some extra help with carrying my luggage or navigating through certain areas.

Stayed at Brylach Steading in the Hayloft for a work project. Lovely homely feel with personal touches. Sharon, the host, was welcoming and accommodating, even with a late arrival in heavy snow. The property has beautiful surroundings and is peaceful and picturesque. The Hayloft is charming with thoughtful amenities like a well-equipped kitchen and cozy blankets. Gillie the dog is friendly and the cats, although wild, are handsome. a perfect place to unwind and relax, with a home away from home feel.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We had a lovely romantic escape in a charming and well-decorated hayloft. the courtyard was a delightful spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful local countryside. We also appreciated the abundance of books, maps, and utensils provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
During our stay, we experienced discomfort due to the warm weather and the location of the boiler in the bedroom. Despite the fan provided, it was still very warm overnight, which affected our sleep.

My stay at Brylach Steading was like a dream come true. The cozy ambiance and tasteful interior design made me feel right at home. The well-equipped kitchen was a huge plus, allowing me to cook delicious meals just like I would at my own place. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The wood burner in the living room added the perfect touch of coziness. The key lock for check-in was hassle-free, and the warm welcome made me feel instantly comfortable. The homely touches and attention to detail were evident throughout the property. I can't wait to visit again!

Stayed at a place with "garden views." So glad I could stare at plants instead of working. Free WiFi and parking were nice, I guess.
Ugh, I had to actually work instead of exploring. Boo hoo.

I have to say, the value for money at this place was outstanding. The room was cozy and filled with character, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering peace and tranquility with breathtaking views. The staff, especially Sharon, were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended!
The only thing that could've made breakfast even better would be to have more variety in the morning goodies.
